Another afro-swing single that would have gone off in the clubs is South London artist Curtis J's newest track ‘Check your Balance’, which features singer Tomie Boy. On this smooth single, Curtis J jumps on the beat with the infectious chorus, which he delivers with ease, whilst the visuals enhance the energetic atmosphere that is created as the artists dance in locations which would most definitely make viewers gain a nostalgic sense of being in a festival abroad, or even the club, due to the smart use of lightening. We haven’t heard much from Tomie Boy, but this track definitely shows that he should be under our radar for now on as he was an amazing asset to this song, as seen from his flow. Moreover, 'Check Your Balance' was made even sweeter by the fact that these artists easily switched between singing in English to Yoruba in this song.
